Our Story
6 years ago I was tasked with finding something to occupy my hands to help with my anxiety. As I scrolled through Pinterest and saw pin after pin of adorable crochet toys I knew I found something I wanted to learn.
Maya Grace was just a baby, and Titan Jay was two. How perfect to be able to actually make them toys!
It started out just for my little ones and family members. Soon, I had requests coming in for paid orders. And that’s when Maya Jay Crochet was created, named after the two people I love most in the world.
My mission is to spread as much love and kindness as possible in the most inclusive way I can. My creations are for everyone regardless of gender, race, religion, or sexual orientation. Every item I work on is made in hopes that it will bring joy to whoever receives it. I work hard to be a safe and inclusive space for all of those around me and I hope that shines through in my work!
Recently, I added knit items to my shop. They have been a blast to make and have given me another way to let my creativity flow. I am so excited to push my limits with my knitting tools and offer more exciting and fun products to my customers!
